A Metallic coating is a covering that is applied to the surface of an object. It can be applied by using such as sprayer, such as electro-chemical, or mechanically. These are applied on items such as shiny or glossy items and can be protection from sunlight, corrosion and oxidation. In such case all of these types of coating is a product label on many kind of metal or more other coatings.
While there are four commonly to used methods by applying to steel surfaces. These are hot dip galvanizing, thermal spraying, or electroplating etc. The two processes are not used for structural steel work. But are used for in fittings, fasteners or other small items. The corrosion protection afforded by metallic coatings. In such case it is largely dependent upon the choice of metal coating.
- Anodizing. It is most use in aluminum, and can also be used on other metals such as titanium and zinc.
- Electroplating: It is a process by which a layer of zinc is applied to a metal to prevent corrosion.
- Powder Coatings.
- Thermal spraying: A processes whereas, are melted (or heated) materials are sprayed onto a surface to form a coating. The may be in the form of powder, ceramic rod, wire or molten materials.
- We offer Hot Dip, PTFE, Gi, Black Finish or Yellow Finish.
