Hammer bolt (T-Bolt)

Imported from approved mills · Stocked in Umm Al Quwain, U.A.E.

Hammer head bolts — also called T-bolts or channel bolts — fix into cast-in or surface-mounted channel without drilling. The head enters the channel lip narrow-side-on, turns 90°, and then bears wide across both lips. Nothing is drilled, nothing is welded, and the fixing can be positioned anywhere along the channel and moved later.

The head has to match the channel. Channel is described by two numbers — the lip opening and the channel depth, such as 28/15 — and a hammer head sized for one profile will not seat in another. The wrong head either drops straight through or sits on the lip instead of under it, which looks tight and carries almost nothing. Send us the channel profile or a photograph of the section and we will match it.

Specification. Property classes 4.6 and 8.8 to ISO 898-1, or A2-70 and A4-70 stainless to ISO 3506-1. M8 to M20 in standard lengths, longer to order. Finishes: zinc plated to ISO 4042 for dry interiors, hot-dip galvanized to ISO 1461 and ISO 10684 for anything outdoors in the Gulf, and zinc flake to ISO 10683 where a high-strength class must be coated without embrittlement risk.

Supplied with matching nuts and washers, and an EN 10204 3.1 certificate with every delivery.
