Description

B7 A193 STUD BOLT

B7 A193 Stud bolt, a term used for the cut-to-length all-thread rod. B7 Stud bolt can be used for bolting together flanges, or anchor bolting, as well as like general fastening. ASTM is the standard specification for alloy steel and stainless steel bolts.

It is used in high-temperature or high-pressure environments or other special-purpose applications. B7 Stud bolts are externally threaded fasteners without ahead, use with 2 nuts on either side. Substituting a usual bolt and nut assembly. They are prominently used in flange connections. Stud Bolts provide the ability to obtain much more accurate torque values as a result because the studs don’t twist during tightening as do bolts. The studs bolt remain stationary during nut tightening, the studs stretch in one axis alone, providing much more even and accurate clamping forces

B7 Stud Bolt General.

Stud Bolt can also be called threaded rod is a relatively long rod that is threaded on both ends; which may extend along the complete length of the rod. They are designed to be used in tension. Threaded rod in bar stock form is often called all-thread.

Stud bolts are available in national coarse (UNC) thread pitches like generally used in traditional applications, which can be there are 8 threads per inch (“thread per inch”) for rod diameters above 1 inch. B7 is the most common specification grade.

Stud bolt b7 ASTM a193 for a flange connection will be given by the number of bolt holes in a flange, diameter, and length of bolts. Because it is dependent on flange type and Pressure Class of flange.

Used For.

It can be used in high pressure bolting situations for the pipeline, drilling, petroleum or petrochemical refining and general industry for sealing and flange connections all thread, tap end, and double end stud bolts, so in the share of the industries.
